Morgan took the time to send an email out to our clients and friends and I thought it was worth sharing here.
Hi everyone! My name is Morgan Bonwell and I am the newest addition to the CHQ family.
I am a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where I majored in Communication Studies and minored in Politics and Law. I am from small-town Iowa, which aligns perfectly with the CHQ community.
We were such a perfect match that we had been in a business relationship without even knowing it!
After college I went to work at the Iowa State Capitol to clerk for Representative Tedd Gassman. Following, I was offered a position with the Indiana Republican Party as a Regional Field Director. Many of you probably know how big of a deal Indiana’s Senate seat was in the 2018 election… we did too!
As I was working day in and day out for future Senator Mike Braun and the statewide team doing phone calling-so was CHQ!
The Indiana GOP did many conTEXT campaigns with Campaign Headquarters because they understood how important it was to turn Joe Donnelly’s seat.
We all know how the campaign turned out with the Indiana GOP and Campaign HQ working together to elect conservative candidates, and I am so honored to say I was a part of it all!
So over the next few weeks I will be training with our Culture Keeper and Senior Campaign Director, Marlys Popma, and in time I will be taking new CHQ clients to maximize our efforts in electing and promoting the right choice!
I am so enthusiastic about helping your future endeavors whether it be GOTV, VID, Advocacy, etc! Be sure to give me a call at 888-722-4704 (Ext. 203) or send me an email at morgan@chq.us so we can get started on your next big project!
We’re so glad to have Morgan on our team, give her a call today.
I recently participated in an American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) Webinar. I had a great time getting the chance to share my message of what it is we do every day at CampaignHQ and how to effectively make calls.
I thought I’d share a few clips from the webinar with you here:
Martha Waffles, recently sent out an update to our clients and friends. I will admit, she has funny stories to share:
I have a funny story to tell you before I get down to business… Marlys was on a VERY important phone call the other day, but it was time for her to give me some meat scraps so I did what any good girl would do, bark! Well apparently, an entire telephone townhall heard me!
Okay, okay, I heard a rumor going around that I may not be holding up my responsibilities at the office. I’d like to set the record straight!
It’s hard to believe so many years have passed since the attack on the World Trade Center. We will never forget that day or the heroic way our country came together after.
Being a great campaign manager is much different from being a great business owner. As a consultant or vendor, your mission is aligned with your clients. (And if it’s not, you’d better stop and figure out why). However, your mission is not identical.
Also, Campaigns & Elections provides incredible tools, tactics, techniques and updates on everything that has to do with political campaigns, consulting and media. If you’re not already reading their materials, I highly recommend it!
I loved this post from the great, Gov. Greg Abbott featuring his dogs, Pancakes and Peaches. Pancakes, Peaches and Waffles basically sound like a great superhero group.
Needless to say, Waffles was very disappointed I did not take her to meet Pancake and Peaches when I was recently in Texas. She was also disappointed to discover her budget for a Canine Telephone Townhall was not approved.
The employees at CampaignHQ are the most dedicated, hardworking employees. Not only do they love what they do, but they care deeply about the country they live in, all the way down to their communities.
On a daily basis, these employees are putting their conservative values in action whether it’s through their work here at CHQ, volunteering in their local churches or non-profits and even in political office.
CHQ employee, Staci Shepard, brought a concern to the city council last year regarding snow removal, which they did not address. So she decided to take matters into her own hands and be part of the solution to fix the problem.
Our employees talk the talk and walk the walk. Don’t you want someone like that on your team?
