Oops. I missed National Dog Day, apparently. If I’m being completely honest, every day is dog day around these parts.
I loved this post from the great, Gov. Greg Abbott featuring his dogs, Pancakes and Peaches. Pancakes, Peaches and Waffles basically sound like a great superhero group.
Needless to say, Waffles was very disappointed I did not take her to meet Pancake and Peaches when I was recently in Texas. She was also disappointed to discover her budget for a Canine Telephone Townhall was not approved.
Maybe next time, Chief Canine Officer.
